Fighting for a just cause has its dangers.
Everyday people go out into public areas or in front of abortion clinics to make people aware of the atrocities that are happening to our nation’s children behind closed doors.
These brave men and women will not stand by while 125,000 babies are killed daily, standing up to a society that has taken away the voice of the unborn, often to their own detriment as liberal America lashes out.
But sadly they often face a violent backlash from pro-abortion radicals…
In Massachusetts, an activist was punched in the face while trying to deter scared mothers from taking the life of their child outside an abortion clinic, that is until the police were called to the scene.
At about 9:30 in the morning police officers were called to Women’s Health Services in Brookline after a female physically assaulted the male pro-life activist outside the clinic, according to the Daily Wire.
The Brookline Police News reported on the event:
“Police were dispatched to Women’s Health Services on Harvard Street for a disturbance. A woman believed a man, who was standing out front of the address, was videotaping her. The two exchanged words, the woman struck the man in the face then left the area.”
The woman was allegedly a patient of the clinic, according to Patch.com. As she walked by the protestors, the victim leaned in to speak with the perpetrator, which made her upset. After yelling at the activist, she then punched him in the face.
Police reports did say that they were able to identify the woman, and summoned her to court for assault and battery charges.
It is unclear why the woman was so hostile towards the man speaking on behalf of the children whose lives were lost in that dreaded building. One can only speculate that she was confronted with a harsh reality by the signs and statements being presented.
The Women’s Health Services where the altercation occurred is said to perform up to second trimester abortions, as their website states, using the horrendous and inhumane dilation and evacuation method.
2 Timothy 3:12 reads:
“Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”
All believers have faced persecution in their pursuance to live for the Father, whether it be shunned from a group of friends for being too religious, or as far as imprisonment in a foreign country for spreading the Word of Jesus.
Standing up to pro-death individuals in the thick of the warfare is undoubtedly going to be confrontational to say the least, but there is a level of expectation between two human beings that there should be able to be disagreement without physical altercations.
This is not the first time that a pro-life activist has been physically assaulted trying to bring awareness to the genocide that is happening in our country.
Late last year, Marie-Claire Bissonnette, a young woman from the Canadian pro-life organization Campaign Life Coalition, was kicked in the face by a man who didn’t like what he was hearing.
The man was later identified as hairstylist Jordan Hunt from the Toronto area, after the whole scene was caught on tape. Hunt is facing a slew of legal charges, according to legal website Law and Crime, including “eight counts of assault and seven counts of mischief under $5,000.”
Devin Sena posted the video to Twitter, saying how Hunt needs to be brought to justice.

There are more assaults like this happening all over the United States frequently, but they don’t get much attention. With media being largely run by left-wing corporations, you won’t hear about all the action on the front lines by those spreading a message of love and forgiveness through Jesus.
The Bible says that “if you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you” (1 Peter 4:14).
Remembering this verse during our trials with unbelievers is encouraging. We are blessed, because we have the Savior of the world backing us up in what some would say is the darkest time in our history to date.
Every life saved by a pro-life activist standing up for what is right, fighting for God’s children, is worth all the persecution by liberal bullies.
Please let us know in the comments section if you have a story of standing up for what is right, being blessed by persecution for His name’s sake.
