All throughout the year, Christians around the world will steward their funds well in order to help organizations care for those in need.
And on this Giving Tuesday, we want to highlight a few of our favorite organizations and showcase the challenging work they do to make the name of Jesus known.
From helping pregnant women choose life to supporting families with intellectual and physical disabilities, to even helping children of prisoners – check out these incredible organizations.
Save The Storks
Many vulnerable pregnant women who feel they have nowhere to turn are often pressured by the abortion industry to kill their babies.
Tragically, many often choose abortion – never knowing they had the option to choose life.
But Save the Storks works with pregnant women and empowers them to choose life with life-saving ultrasounds.
They also have mobile medical clinics – known as “Stork Buses” – that offer everything from pregnancy tests to ultrasounds at no cost – so any woman can access their services.
And as studies show, women who see an ultrasound of their baby often choose life!
Check out Save The Storks here and consider supporting their work!
Jill’s House
Many families who are raising children with intellectual and physical disabilities feel incredibly alone and isolated.
Jill’s House provides overnight respite care for children with disabilities so their parents can get a much-needed night (or even weekend) of rest.
This amazing facility is located in Vienna, Virginia, and has everything from an indoor heated pool (complete with a water wheelchair so even children in wheelchairs can access to the pool) to an indoor play area – and even a sensory room full of lights and rocking chairs for children with extra sensory needs.
And since they don’t receive government funding – Jill’s House employees are free to talk about Jesus and preach the Gospel to children – and their families.
The loving staff (and nurses) care for these children for a night or even an entire weekend so parents can relax and have time off.
They’ve even expanded to host camps all throughout the country!

Voice Of The Martyrs
There are Christians all around the world risking their lives for the spread of the Gospel.
Many Christians serve in dangerous countries and face extreme persecution.
The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) helps serve these persecuted Christians by providing practical relief and spiritual support to their families, as well as equipping and supporting Christians who are serving in parts of the world hostile to Christ.
In addition, VOM educates other churches and Christians on the struggles and challenges of Christian martyrs – showcasing their faith and encouraging other believers to take risks for the name of Jesus.

Prison Fellowship International
Many people who have been sent to prison are isolated and shunned not only by society – but by their own family and friends.
As a result, the children of those in prison are left in vulnerable situations where they face violence and extreme poverty.
In fact, Prison Fellowship International (PFI) reports more than 14 million children around the world have lost a parent to imprisonment and are forced to beg for food or work from morning until night – just to survive.
Thankfully, PFI stands in the gap and partners with other churches and ministry leaders around the world to help not only prisoners – but also their children.
Each child in the program is assigned a caseworker who helps the child with healthcare, education, safety, and even connects them to a local church!
PFI believes every person has value and dignity, and work tirelessly to reach those society often rejects.

There are many other Christian ministries doing the Lord’s work – so on this Giving Tuesday, please don’t forget to pray for them and give as you feel led to help support these faithful warriors for Christ.
What is your favorite Christian ministry?
Will you commit to taking the time today to pray and support those on the frontlines doing the Lord’s work?

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17
