It’s one thing to pray for abortion workers to repent from their wicked ways and turn to Jesus.
But Reverend Kaeley McEvoy had a different prayer in mind – she actually prayed for the work of abortion clinics to continue – sharing that she never felt more “loved by God” than when she had her own abortions.
And once you hear all the ways she used her faith to justify abortion – you’re bound to be horrified.
God’s Word is clear – He will not be mocked.
Anyone who does evil in His name and calls it good will have to stand before Him one day and answer.
It’s even worse when those doing evil hold positions of leadership in the church – and lead others astray and into sin.
“Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.” James 3:1
Reverend Kaeley McEvoy is a “pastor” at the United Church of Christ in Maryland and was recently featured in a Washington Post story highlighting all the “religious” leaders who support abortion.
Of course, the article was meant to make it seem like abortion is so popular and normal that even people of faith are embracing a woman’s “right” to choose.
The Washington Post reported:
“In November, McEvoy, a 29-year-old with a melodic preaching cadence, took the high, white pulpit at Westmoreland and said she had “never felt more known and heard and loved by God than when I entered the doors of a Planned Parenthood.”
Then last month she addressed a group of Christian abortion access activists meeting in a D.C. church: “Something holy is happening here, friends.”
Holy?
Ripping an unborn baby from its mother’s womb that was created in the image of God is “Holy”?
Injuring a woman’s body and creating emotional trauma and wounds that can only be fully healed by Jesus is “Holy”?
When the Bible talks about false preachers – it’s clear Reverend Kaeley McEvoy falls into this category.
She’s using the pulpit to not only advocate for her personal pro-abort views – but she’s hoping others will buy into her beliefs and choose abortions for themselves.
While it used to be those who distanced themselves from God advocating for abortion – the latest trend is people trying to use God’s name to endorse killing babies.
Biden claims abortion is a “moral right” – and Pelosi thinks since God gives us “free will” it’s okay to vote for more unborn babies to be killed – right up until birth.
We must keep praying for those who think abortion is something to celebrate and endorse – pray that God will turn their hearts and lead them to His truth.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17
