In a society that promotes a woman’s right to “choose” to kill her own baby – some politicians are standing up and saying “not on my watch”.
Determined to fight back against abortion and defend life – West Virginia Governor Jim Justice just signed the most incredible bill into law.
And once you hear the details and the lives that will be saved – you’re bound to have your hope restored that not all is lost.
We could all use a little bit of good news.
While pro-lifers cheered as Roe v. Wade was overturned – we knew this wasn’t the end of the battle for life – and that pro-abort states would find new ways to help women abort their babies.
Not surprising, rabid pro-abortion states like New York and California openly invited women to cross their borders and get abortions.
Other pro-abort states sent unmarked vans to the borders of pro-life states so women could cross state lines to kill their babies.
And thanks to Biden, retail pharmacies can now sell abortion drugs giving pregnant moms even more ways to end the life of the precious baby growing inside their womb.
But in West Virginia – thanks to the courage of pro-life legislators – things are vastly different!
West Virginia recently established the West Virginia Mothers and Babies Pregnancy Support Program which allows crisis pregnancy centers to receive funding – and even bans abortion clinics from getting their hands on the funds.
Governor Jim Justice tweeted about the new bill and wrote:
“I’ve said it many times, I stand for life. So, today, I signed a bill establishing the West Virginia Mothers and Babies Pregnancy Support Program, which raises the adoption tax credit and will supply pregnancy help organizations with necessary funding.”
Praise the Lord for this new bill!
Unlike abortion giants like Planned Parenthood who proudly encourage women to kill their babies – crisis pregnancy centers are the ones actually walking alongside pregnant moms and helping them.
From providing life-saving ultrasounds so women choose life to connecting them with resources – crisis pregnancy centers stand in the gap when no one else will.
Sadly, these same life-saving organizations continue to come under attack – with some politicians like Elizabeth Warren even threatening to shut them down.
Instead of working together to protect babies and help women choose life – society sells women the lie that they “can’t succeed” if they have a baby.
But as Christians we know every baby is a gift from God and deserves the right to be born.
We must continue to pray the hearts of those who advocate for abortion will see the truth and choose life.
In addition, it’s crucial we help support pregnant moms and other organizations that help them like crisis pregnancy centers.
