One of the duties of a pastor is to shepherd and teach his flock – which means knowing the Word of God inside and out.
God is the Author of Life – and it’s clear He hates the barbaric act of abortion, which has killed millions of innocent babies.
But one “pastor” (who is also an elected official) prides himself on being “pro-choice” – wait until you hear how pro-lifers called him out.
To start, being a “pro-choice pastor” is an oxymoron.
Such a being does not exist.
No man of God can preach from the pulpit, or state to an individual, that God condones abortion.
But in a public tweet, Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA), the senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church tweeted:
“As a pro-choice pastor, I’ve always believed that a patient’s room is way too small for a woman, her doctor, and the United States government.”

Wow.
Truly unbelievable.
Not surprisingly, Senator Warnock forgot to include the baby growing inside of its mother’s womb as ‘a person in the room.’
But this approach seems popular among pro-aborts – they fake caring about “women’s rights” to the extent that they completely neglect the rights of the baby.
Leftist politicians like Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden have both used their so-called faith to justify abortion.
Truly horrific.
Of course, we know abortion hurts both a woman and her baby – causing lifelong emotional trauma (and sometimes even physical scars) – and killing an innocent baby, growing in its mother’s womb.
While nothing pro-aborts say is truly shocking anymore – it’s a completely different ballgame when someone advocates for abortion AND tries to do it in the name of Jesus!
Thankfully, folks were quick to call out Senator Warnock’s ridiculous tweet.
Christian Headlines reported:
“You can be pro-choice or a faithful pastor, but you cannot be both,” podcast host Allie Beth Stuckey replied.
“Of course, Warnock’s much bigger problem is not his views on abortion, but his views on the gospel, which I very much doubt he could correctly articulate if he tried.”
Another conservative pro-life hero Lila Rose tweeted:
“That room includes a child. And that child deserves to live.”
Amen.
If elected officials want to use their positions of power to advocate for abortion – they will stand before God in their sinful agenda.
They should truly fear God if they dare use His holy name to justify slaughtering unborn lives, because God is not mocked.
God it truth and His desires are known.
Let’s pray for a day in our nation when abortion will be outlawed for good.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17
