Christians have many different views of President Trump.
But regardless of where they stand on the President, one thing is clear.
And it has Christians and pro-lifers terrified of the potential 2020 election results.
Since Joe Biden chose Sen. Kamala Harris as his running mate, pro-life leaders are calling the Democratic ticket the “most pro-abortion presidential ticket in history.”
Combined with Nancy Pelosi in charge of the House, and Chuck Schumer in charge of the Senate, Christian pro-lifers could be facing the most radically pro-abortion government in our nation’s history.
Christians, conservatives and even Democrat pro-lifers are expressing outrage over Harris’ radical and authoritarian views on abortion.
The National Review calls Harris “the most radically pro-abortion candidate to run for president or vice president in the history of our country.”
Evangelist Franklin Graham warned Christians about the Biden-Harris ticket immediately after Harris was introduced as Biden’s running mate.
“This should be a great concern to all Christians,” Graham tweeted. “As a follower of Jesus Christ, I am pro-life and believe every life is precious to God.”
Through Biden is Catholic and Harris claims to be a Baptist, their beliefs on abortion are in direct conflict with the Christian faith.
Faith-based organizations insist Biden is eschewing his Christian beliefs in favor of politics and to support abortion.
“[He is] making it clear that his self-styled ‘Catholic identity’ is something which can be cast aside whenever it’s politically expedient,” Brian Burch, president of CatholicVote, told Breitbart.com.
“Like Joe Biden himself, Kamala Harris favors radical abortion policies, including late-term abortion paid for by taxpayers, as well as forcing Catholic religious orders like the Little Sisters of the Poor to provide abortion drugs in their healthcare plans.”
“It is clear that a Biden-Harris ticket threatens the values Catholics in this country hold most dear.”
Even many Democrats are opposed to their far-left, radical stance. A Gallup poll in May found that nearly a quarter of Democrats are pro-life.
Kristen Day of Democrats for Life of America told Fox News that the anti-abortion group was already concerned about Biden. She calls the Democratic platform “the most pro-abortion platform we have seen in history.”
Harris, a Democrat senator from California, advocates “abortion on demand” and co-sponsored the most extreme pro-abortion federal legislation ever introduced.
The Women’s Health Protection Act would override state restrictions on abortion in the last three months of pregnancy and invalidate any state law that prohibits abortions after fetal viability.
The legislation would also prohibit states from enacting and enforcing informed-consent and waiting-period laws.
During her failed presidential campaign, Harris also vowed to use her executive powers to direct the Justice Department to block any state laws considered contrary to Roe v. Wade.
“We cannot tolerate a perspective that is about going backward and not understanding women have agency, women have value, women have authority to make decisions about their own lives and their own bodies,” Harris said in a town hall meeting.
Harris also has close ties to Planned Parenthood. As California attorney general, she led a raid on the Center for Medical Progress after CMP released undercover photos of Planned Parenthood selling fetal tissue from aborted babies.
She then collaborated with Planned Parenthood on California legislation to make it a felony for CMP and other journalists to expose private communications between pregnant women and abortion providers.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List, told Breitbart.com that Harris “conspired with the abortion industry to launch a politically-motivated shakedown of brave citizen journalists who exposed Planned Parenthood’s role in the harvest and sale of aborted baby parts for profit.”
“Kamala Harris is an extremist who supports abortion on demand through birth, paid for by taxpayers, and even infanticide — an agenda rejected by the overwhelming majority of Americans, including millions of Independents and rank-and-file Democrats,” Dannenfelser said.
If elected, she said, Biden and Harris would “immediately begin rolling back President Trump’s pro-life gains, as well as longstanding policies like the Hyde Amendment.”
The Hyde Amendment, which prohibits the use of Medicaid and other government funds for abortion, is also under attack by Democrats.
According to the LA Times, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Rosa DeLauro, who heads the subcommittee that funds federal health programs, told lawmakers recently that they would no longer support the amendment in any government funding bill next year.
Rep. Barbara Lee told The Times the move was “an issue of racial justice” and “discrimination against low-income women, women of color, women who don’t have access to what middle- and upper-income women have in terms of the choice to have an abortion.”
If Biden becomes president, it is clear that pro-choice Democrats will have free rein to make it even easier for women to get an abortion.
“He is the abortion candidate, leaving behind any semblance of being a moderate,” March for Life President Jeanne Mancini told Breitbart.
“And, sadly, this Democrat ticket is perhaps the most pro-abortion in history, in favor of radical abortion policies out of touch with mainstream Americans.”
