In a recent string of attacks, villages and homes were destroyed by Fulani herdsmen who have been attacking and slaying Christians in Nigeria without mercy.
Most recently, six villages were targeted by terrorists who killed innocent Christians and left behind a trail of carnage and destruction.
And once you hear about the dire crisis Christians in Nigeria are going through – you’ll be compelled to pray and intercede on their behalf.
To start – Christians have been persecuted in Nigeria in droves. But the Biden administration continues to turn a blind eye – even removing Nigeria from the State Department’s religious persecution list.
Meanwhile, the killing sprees continue – with terrorists even kidnapping children.
Threatened with fear and violence – Christians in Nigeria face each day knowing they could die simply for professing the name of Jesus.
And those who aren’t killed are tormented and beaten by terrorists who demand a ransom for their victims.
No Christian in Nigeria feels safe and impending fear overshadows the land.
But Christians in Nigeria remain faithful to God and continue to worship together – not allowing the threats of terrorists shake their faith.
Sadly, terrorists intentionally target churches knowing that many Christians are gathered together in one area.
As Christian Life Daily previously reported, one brutal attack on a Catholic church left 50 people dead including young children – proving these terrorists are so violent they’ll even kill kids without hesitation.
And yet again, the latest attack on Nigerian Christians has wreaked havoc on a local community – shattering any sense of safety.
Morning Star News reported:
“These attacks by the herdsmen have left dozens of Christians dead and several more with gunshot injuries and machete attack wounds,” area resident Ukan Kurugh told Morning Star News in a text message.
“Survivors of these herdsmen attacks have been taken to some hospitals, and they need urgent medical attention but lack the funds to pay for their medical bills. Some of them need urgent surgeries but they can’t afford to pay for the charges.”
The situation in Nigeria continues to worsen as attacks are occurring on a frequent basis.
Our hearts ache for our brothers and sisters in Nigeria who continue to lose their lives – simply for believing in Jesus.
We must remember to pray for them, pray that God will protect and strengthen them and put an end to the violent attacks.
In addition, let’s hope those who are hostile to the Gospel will have a change of heart – and come to know Jesus in a real and personal way.
Will you commit to praying for the people in Nigeria?
What message of hope would you want Christians in Nigeria to have?

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17
