Joe Biden’s Supreme Court pick, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, claimed that since she isn’t a “biologist,” she can’t define the word ‘woman.’
During a second day of intense questioning, Sen. Marsha Blackburn asked Jackson about a previous Supreme Court ruling, pushing her to simply explain what a woman was.
But instead of answering the question – Jackson’s response was shocking – and a horrifying preview of what’s to come should she be the next confirmed Supreme Court Justice.
Jackson told Sen. Blackburn she couldn’t define the word woman – actually replying with statements like “I can’t” and “I’m not a biologist.”
It wasn’t a trick question either.
But Jackson refused, and her strong reaction and refusal to define the word told Senators everything they needed to know.
“The fact that you can’t give me a straight answer about something as fundamental as what a woman is underscores the dangers of the kind of progressive education that we are hearing about,” Blackburn told Jackson.”
Blackburn went on to reference the horror of biological male “Lia Thomas” competing against biological women – and winning the NCAA swimming championship.
Many leaders have criticized Thomas’s ability to compete – and Blackburn challenged Jackson to share her thoughts.
Not surprising, Jackson refused to comment.
“What message do you think this sends to girls who aspire to compete and win in sports at the highest levels?” the senator asked Jackson.
After the judge refused to answer, Blackburn told her, “I think it tells our girls that their voices don’t matter. I think it tells them that they’re second-class citizens. And parents want to have a Supreme Court justice who is committed to preserving parental autonomy and protecting our nation’s children.”
With parental rights being threatened at every turn and a culture trying to eradicate the family – there is bound to be an increase in lawsuits and rulings.
And in an era where adults are traumatizing children with their radical pro-LGBT policies – which has resulted in some children being sexually assaulted in school – we need level-headed adults who will rule with wisdom on our nation’s highest court.
But if Jackson can’t even acknowledge that there are two biological sexes – male and female – one can’t imagine how she’d rule should a “transgender” case appear before the court.
Sadly, if Biden gets his way – his radical pick will be our next Supreme Court Justice, and children will continue to think gender is something fluid that “can’t be defined.”
We must continue to pray sensible leaders will rise up and speak out against this radical attack on God’s design for gender.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17
