Planned Parenthood is known for coercing women to get abortions – and often take advantage of vulnerable pregnant moms.
Thankfully, pro-life activists continue to pursue these scared and pregnant women – and show them there are resources available to help them choose life.
And when pro-lifers were praying for a way to directly reach the women going into a Washington Planned Parenthood – God answered their prayer in the most incredible way.
In Bremerton, Washington, a Planned Parenthood facility slaughters countless unborn babies each day.
Pro-lifers desperately wanted to do something to bring light to the darkness and help women know they can choose life.
So when a house came up for sale directly across the street from the Planned Parenthood facility, the Western Washington Coalition for Life acted quickly – and by God’s grace they were able to raise $200,000 to purchase the home.
Praise the Lord!
Appropriately named “The House for Life” – this pro-life home provides resources to pregnant moms – a sharp contrast to the violence promoted at Planned Parenthood.
LifeSite News reports:
“Inside the home, the group offers help and information to women who may feel that abortion is their only choice.
“We’re not anti-abortion just because it kills the baby,” Coykendall said, “but we are all for getting life to be the choice rather than the only option being abortion across the street.”
To that end, her group provides information about adoption and foster care, so that women can know the options available to them.”
Amen!
So many pregnant moms choose abortion because they buy into the lie that it’s their only option.
But there are so many resources available to pregnant moms – from emotional support, to financial assistance, to even housing.
In addition, helping moms understand that if they truly feel they’re unable to care for the precious life inside of them, there are options like adoption that will give their baby the chance at life and be adopted into a loving home – instead of being slaughtered at the hands of cruel abortionists.
The best way to fight the darkness of abortion is with the light.
And thanks to God’s miraculous answer to the heartfelt prayer of these pro-lifers in Bremerton – The House for Life stands as a beacon of light – helping pregnant moms have hope and choose life.
We still must keep praying for a day to come when every Planned Parenthood and abortion provider will close their doors for good and no longer be able to slaughter innocent life.
But until that day, pro-lifers must be active and involved in the fight for life and use their time, talent, and treasure to be a voice for the unborn.
