After a brutal and ugly election cycle, the radical left now controls the White House and Congress, making it a dangerous time for unborn babies.
Biden and his team have already promised to push through a pro-abortion agenda, and now with gaining control of the Senate, the left is eager to get started on their plan to expand abortion and slay more unborn babies.
And even though we face an uphill battle as Christians, we must remember one important truth to avoid falling into total despair.
But first, one thing is clear – the reality is we are in for a tough next 4 years.
Many conservatives placed their hope in Georgia’s special election, but when both pro-abort candidates won their races, things looked bleak.
Especially since newly-elected Senator Raphael Warnock claims to be a “pro-choice pastor.”
Live Action reported:
“Warnock has vowed to “oppose all partisan attacks defunding health care providers like Planned Parenthood.” Though Warnock is the pastor of Atlanta’s Ebenezer Baptist Church, he tweeted on December 8, 2020, “I am a pro-choice pastor.” He has also stated he “will always fight for reproductive justice,” that he believes “a hospital room is way too small for a woman, her doctor, and the United States government,” and that abortion is part of God-given “human agency and freedom.”
God has warned us all throughout Scripture many will call evil good.
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” – Isaiah 5:20
Clearly, no follower of Christ can profess to love Jesus and support slaying unborn babies in the name of Jesus!
And with Biden already promising to give even more federal funding to Planned Parenthood, it can be easy to give up the fight and become hopeless.
But remember, God is still sovereign and on His throne!
As Christians, we know He is always in control, even if we don’t understand why things happen the way they do.
And God does not call us to retreat to the shadows and become crippled by despair.
Instead, He calls us to pray without ceasing.
As Christians, we must be on our knees daily praying for our nation and praying for our leaders – even those who are fundamentally opposed to everything we believe in.
We are called to pray for our leaders and enemies. That is Biblical.
In addition to prayer, there are still ways to get involved in the pro-life movement.
You can donate to life-saving ministries like Save The Storks which provides free ultrasounds to pregnant women.
Perhaps you might want to consider running for office yourself or supporting other pro-life candidates who put their hat in the ring.
While the next 4 years may be dark and dreary for unborn babies, we must remain vigilant in the battle for life and not give up the fight.
The true battle is in the spiritual realm – and we must start all of our battles humbly on our knees in prayer.
