The Presbyterian Church (USA) wants to collect data about its members – but instead of having their members select either male or female for their gender…
… they’ve added a third option.
Now, church members can select if they “identify” as “nonbinary/genderqueer” – and just wait until you hear how yet another denomination is embracing the LGBT agenda.
To start, every Christian should know they were perfectly created by God – either male or female.
While there are individuals who struggle with gender dysphoria, they need spiritual and mental health counseling – but instead, churches are placating to their delusions.
Most recently, Presbyterian Church (USA) has updated their guidelines on what statistics they plan to gather on their members.
Besides basic changes such as adding in a category for 17/18-year-old members – the church wants to find out how many of their members “identify” as “non-binary/genderqueer.”
Presbyterian Church (USA) reported:
“We’ll have the same categories, we’re just not defining them any longer, which may upset people. The information will be there — we’re just removing the definitions,” said Kris Valerius, manager of denominational roles and statistics.
“For instance, we’ve always asked how many female members there are in the church. We’re now asking how many men, women and nonbinary/genderqueer members there are. We’ve never asked that question so we don’t know how many people will fill it out.”
Valerius says it’s an important question to ask.
“If we want to be inclusive, then we have to start asking because you should be aware of who’s a part of your church,” she said.”
The problem is, so many churches are walking away from God’s Word for the sake of being “inclusive” or diverse.
Who could forget the horror when it was revealed a United Methodist Church pastor invited a “drag queen” named “Penny Coast” to preach a sermon to children at his church!
The pastor defended his decision saying some of his youth were “transgender” and wanted to see someone “like themselves” preaching the Gospel.
While it’s important to treat every person with love and respect, it doesn’t mean the Church should gloss over sin and change church doctrine to identify with the world’s standards.
As believers, we are set apart from the world.
While we should go into the world and show the light of Jesus to those trapped in darkness, it’s crucial that Christians do not become like the world.
When Christians compromise on Biblical truth in order to “win” the world – they end up doing harm.
Let’s hope the Presbyterian Church (USA) will hold the line when it comes to God’s definition on Biblical gender – and help those who “identify” as “nonbinary” find healing in Jesus Christ.
Do you think the Presbyterian Church (USA) should add “nonbinary/genderqueer” as an option for their members to identify as?
How do you think the Church should handle those who claim to be “transgender”?

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17
