A string of victories in leftist courts have empowered LGBT activists to fight back against any attempt to stop their “transgender” agenda.
But thankfully, a recent series of rulings have finally turned the tide against the LGBT machine – and the latest out of Florida has inspired other states to stand strong.
And once you hear the judge’s remarks to a “transgender” bathroom challenge, you’re bound to be encouraged.
Drew Adams is a biological female, but “identifies” as a male.
When her high school said Drew needed to use the same restroom as her biological gender – she refused.
She took it to the courts who at first agreed that Drew should be able to use whichever restroom she wanted.
But thankfully, an Appeals court chimed in stating the high school was not discriminating against Drew by not allowing her to use the male restroom at school.
Reuters reported:
“Adams contended that the high school’s bathroom policy violated the Constitution’s Equal Protection clause and Title IX, which bars sex discrimination in education.
Writing for the majority, Circuit Judge Barbara Lagoa disagreed, saying the school board had an important interest in protecting students’ privacy, and calling it “wrong” to suggest it relied on illegal stereotypes of transgender people.
The Trump appointee also said Title IX allows separate bathrooms based on biological sex, citing “the plain and ordinary meaning of ‘sex’ in 1972” when that law took effect.
She also warned that ruling for Adams could “transform schools’ living facilities, locker rooms, showers, and sports teams into sex-neutral areas and activities. Whether Title IX should be amended to equate ‘gender identity.”
Amen!
Judge Barbara Lagoa is exactly right.
By allowing “transgender” students to use whatever locker room or restroom they want truly does endanger other students…
… not to mention, further enables gender dysphoria in confused students.
We need more judges to issue common sense rulings like Lagoa – so LGBT activists will stop thinking they can sue – and win – every time they feel someone is “discriminating” against them.
While we should celebrate and praise God for this ruling, we have a long road ahead of us.
After all, the President of the United States is still a firm supporter of “transgender” bathrooms.
And as more activist judges get appointed – we’re bound to see more rulings allowing kids to use whatever bathroom they want.
But as for this day, we will celebrate the victory – and pray more judges will use common sense and protect students against the LGBT madness sweeping our nation.
What are your thoughts on schools forcing students to use the bathroom of their biological sex?
Do you agree with Judge Lagoa’s ruling?
