Biden’s forced vaccine mandate is causing quite the stir – and a group of Ohio pastors have publicly sounded the alarm.
Not mincing words, a letter was sent to President Biden representing more than 100 congregations throughout Ohio.
And as the battle for religious freedom rages on, Christians all over the nation are speaking up – here’s what they have to say.
This particular letter from the Ohio clergy sharply rebukes any type of vaccine mandate – and reminds President Biden the only king they serve is Jesus.
Faithwire reported:
“The federal government should not impose its will on persons by mandating COVID-19 experimental vaccines and removing other alternative treatments. The people should have the ability to make their own health decisions,” the letter read.
“This unilateral and divisive order is unethical and tantamount to what a totalitarian king would dictate,” the missive continued.
“Furthermore Mr. President, with respect to your vaccine mandate, we respond by saying ‘We have no king but King Jesus.’”
It is critical for believers to remember that even when the tough times come, we must keep our eyes on Christ.
But sadly, during the COVID-19 pandemic many politicians took advantage of the yet unknown situation to attack the religious freedom of Christians – and try and silence their faith.
And although those who hate Christ tried to silence Him – they failed big time!
In fact, during COVID-19, a record number of people surrendered their lives to Christ!
Often times it is only through suffering and awareness of just how short life is that many people begin to realize they need to trust in something bigger than themselves.
And even though people were choosing to dedicate their lives to Christ in record numbers – the opposition against Christians escalated to an unprecedented level.
All around the world, harsh leaders used their power and authority to shut down churches – and even throw pastors in jail for refusing to close their church doors.
Here in America, many pastors refused to submit to the rules in leftist states like California and publicly declared they will obey God – not man.
Even Pastor John MacArthur was threatened with arrest for not abiding by the insane mandates.
But he stood firm on God’s Word and won his case, and his church was awarded an $800k settlement.
As Christians, we should use wisdom and discernment with all things, but throwing pastors in jail and shutting down churches is not the way to go.
Nor is a forced mandate, completely eliminating a person’s ability to make decisions for their own families.
We must continue to pray for our leaders, that they will use their God-given power to do the right thing.
And if the time comes where a Christian is asked to do something that violates Scripture, let us pray that we remember – the only King we serve is Jesus Christ!
