With abortion clinics eagerly encouraging vulnerable women to take the lives of their unborn babies, things look bleak for the unborn.
But one pro-life clinic in Texas stands like a beacon of hope and light by showing women they have another choice.
This courageous clinic has stood the test of time and has saved over 90,000 babies from being aborted by implementing one simple policy.
For 30 years, the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center has been determined to save as many lives as possible.
Knowing that the women who walk through their doors are scared and feeling alone, they offer a compassionate listening ear.
They aren’t just employees who receive a paycheck – they see their work as a divine calling.
And as a result of their heart for the Lord and love for life, over 90,000 babies have been saved!
Executive director Leanne Jamieson shares her heart behind the center that she manages.
The Christian Post reported:
“When that young woman or couple walks through the door of our center, we see it as a divine appointment and in our experience, they also are often broken and looking for hope,” she said. “They’ve found themselves in this circumstance and it really often reveals other areas of their life that they’re struggling in.”
Jamieson described her staff as “really good listeners,” adding, “We’re really there to help them problem-solve and navigate their situation. And I tell our volunteers and our staff, ‘If you’re a good listener, then God is going to open that door.’”
The clinic does everything from providing pregnancy tests to sonograms, to even offering adoption referrals for those who want to choose life for their baby, but feel unprepared to be a mother.
With so many couples struggling to have children, adoption is a beautiful option that allows the baby to have life and be raised in a loving home!
Abortion clinics are dark places where many women are pressured to abort their baby without ever being told about other options.
Many women who undergo abortions end up facing emotional trauma, especially if they realize their decision was rushed.
In contrast, life-saving pregnancy centers like Prestonwood treat women with dignity and help walk them through difficult circumstances.
But while Prestonwood is concerned about saving the lives of babies, they are also invested in the spiritual lives of everyone who walks through their doors.
The Christian Post continued:
“According to Jamieson, “We have thousands upon thousands of Gospel conversations every year and … well over 400 women chose Jesus as their Savior, helping us make not just an earthly difference but making that eternal difference as well.”
Praise God for using the workers at Prestonwood to not only save the lives of 90,000 babies, but to lead countless souls in choosing Jesus Christ as Lord!
