While we can still celebrate the incredible victory of Roe v. Wade finally being overturned – the battle for life is far from over.
Some states rushed to pass life-saving legislation – restricting or even banning abortion – but there’s two sides of the same coin – and other states swung widely in the other direction.
And in Massachusetts, pro-abort politicians were so determined to keep abortion legal – they enshrined it into their Constitution – and it’s worse than anyone could have imagined.
Not only did Massachusetts make it even easier for women to kill their babies – but they also enshrined protections for LGBT activists.
The wicked bill passed both the Senate and House in Massachusetts – and was signed into law by Republican Governor Charlie Baker.
The Christian Post reported:
“Access to reproductive health care services and gender-affirming health care services is recognized and declared to be a right secured by the constitution or laws of the commonwealth,” the bill declares.
“Interference with this right, whether or not under the color of law, is against the public policy of the commonwealth.”
Tragically, this makes Massachusetts an abortion “safe-haven” – and encourages abortionists to kill more babies.
LGBT activists and pro-aborts may try to claim abortion is “healthcare” and allowing “gender-affirming” procedures promote “good health” – but nothing could be further from the truth.
Ending the life of a living and breathing baby is not healthcare – it’s murder.
So many women who have abortions later regret their actions, and continue to live with psychological scars that only Jesus can heal.
Others who complete “gender transition” surgeries later regret the way their bodies have been destroyed – and have expressed anger at doctors for allowing such surgeries to take place.
But in Massachusetts – it seems for now that the radical left has won – endangering the lives of unborn babies throughout the state.
Even worse, Governor Baker is doubling-down and even defending the new law – vowing to protect abortionists.
The Christian Post continued:
“Massachusetts remains steadfast in its commitment to protect access to reproductive health care services, especially in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade,” Baker said in a statement.
“The Court’s decision has major consequences for women across the country who live in states with limited access to these services, and our administration took quick action in the hours following that decision by issuing an executive order to protect access here in the Commonwealth,” he added.
Absolutely heartbreaking.
But sadly, what happened in Massachusetts is bound to pick up steam in other states.
New York’s governor has already invited women to come and kill their babies – and California’s radical governor has made similar remarks.
The battle for life is truly spiritual – as it is the enemy who seeks to kill and destroy.
While many have seen the light and left the abortion industry for good – there are just as many who are still deceived.
We must continue to pray and intercede on the behalf of those who choose death over life – that they will come to know the truth.
In addition, let us also pray more pro-life leaders will run for office and lead with their values to fight for life – our babies need a voice and someone to fight for them – as they can’t yet defend themselves.
