As crisis pregnancy centers and churches continue to be burned and destroyed by abortion activists – pro-lifers are praying for the violence to stop.
National leaders have had several opportunities to condemn the violence – and even the chance to publicly vote on a resolution to promote peace.
But when liberals in Congress blocked a resolution that would condemn the recent acts of violence – it became clear just how polarized things have become in our nation – and just wait until you hear the details.
All Americans should agree that violent protests are never okay.
While Americans can, and should, express their freedom of speech and right to protest – the moment things become violent – the line has been crossed.
Christian Life Daily has reported on the sweeping attacks against crisis pregnancy centers and the destruction caused by pro-abort groups like “Jane’s Revenge.”
Volunteers and employees show up to help women at these life-saving pregnancy centers – only to find windows smashed and spray-painted threats warning them they “aren’t safe.”
Hoping to try and stop such madness, Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) introduced House Resolution 1233 which would condemn the recent attacks on crisis pregnancy centers and churches.
It also called on the Biden administration to use law enforcement resources to ensure public safety.
A resolution condemning violence should be an easy vote, right?
Not exactly.
Sadly, the resolution was blocked by the liberals in Congress.
Johnson called out their blatant hypocrisy while voicing his concern and disappointment.
The Christian Post reported:
“Radical leftists were emboldened by the inaction of this body in the aftermath of the leaked opinion,” Johnson said. “When will this body stand up against the mob? When will we restore law and order?”
Johnson claims that pro-choice elected officials have done the exact opposite.
On multiple occasions since the release of the Dobbs decision, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has echoed the calls from Jane’s Revenge, demanding that pro-life pregnancy centers be shut down.
Most recently, Warren maintained that such organizations “are there to fool people who are looking for pregnancy termination help.”
Instead of condemning violence, the politicians in Washington D.C. have turned a blind eye – and instead are going after crisis pregnancy centers.
We must continue to pray for the safety of pro-lifers – that they will continue to work without fear – knowing that they are saving the lives of babies.
In addition, let us pray for all of those who are hurt, scared, and confused – that they will allow the truth of the Gospel to change their hearts and see that senseless violence is never the answer.
And let’s hope those in a position of power will be convicted to use that power for good – and speak out against those harming pro-lifers.
Why do you think liberals in Congress would block a resolution that condemns violence against pro-lifers?
Do you think the Biden administration needs to be more vocal in telling abortion activists to stop vandalizing churches and crisis pregnancy centers?

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17
