In a society that calls evil “good,” young children continue to get caught up in a secular culture war that tells them to abandon God’s teachings.
The latest attack on our children comes from a private school in New York City seeking to confuse young children by telling them that calling their parents “mom and dad” is bad and should be prohibited.
Of course, the goal of these educators is to normalize LGBT households and completely eradicate God’s design for the traditional family unit.
One can’t turn on the news these days without hearing something being labeled as “offensive.”
But one private school in New York City – that charges a whopping $57,000 a year in tuition – has taken it even further by teaching children what language is acceptable, and what is not.
In a startling 12-page memo, Grace Church School tells children how to refer to their parents in “proper terms” and brainwashes them to adapt to the LGBT agenda.
But the memo doesn’t ban curse words or slurs…
… instead, it bans everything from the term “parents” to “boys and girls.”
Here’s just a sample of the “recommended” non-gendered language listed in the memo:
- “Instead of “boys and girls,” “guys,” “ladies,” and “gentleman,” say, “people,” “folks,” “friends,” “readers,” “mathematicians…”
- Instead of the “mom and dad,” say “grown-ups,” “folks,” or “family”
- Instead of “parents” say “grown-ups,” “folks,” “family,” …and “guardians”
What a sad day in our nation when a little girl is taught that referring to her parents as mommy and daddy (or “parents” at all) is something bad!
But not only does the memo seek to completely eradicate all forms of gender, it also included a section of “outdated terms” which eliminates terminologies like “traditional family” and “homosexual.”
The memo then went on to tell children they should no longer assume only “boys and girls” should be married, but instead that “it’s their choice who they marry.”
Sadly, many children are too young to discern that what they’re being taught is not the truth.
Which is why more than ever, parents must continue to raise their children to know the Lord at a young age and internalize God’s truth.
Secular culture will always teach both children and adults to “get with the times” and ignore the clear teachings in God’s Word.
As Christian Life Daily previously reported, the day is coming when we will all have to choose between obeying God or following the culture.
Major evangelical organizations like Bethany Christian Services have already caved and allowed children to be adopted into same-sex homes.
As Christians, we must pray for one another that we remain strong and faithful to the teachings of Jesus.
In His perfect design and goodness, God created us male or female.
And we know His Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
May we teach our children to celebrate the beautiful way God designed them, and remind them that He never makes mistakes.
