Public school children are getting to read the Bible and learn about Jesus – but not in the way you’d expect.
Thanks to an old law – children are able to hear the Gospel during school hours . . .
. . . and just wait until you hear about this incredible program helping public school kids learn about Jesus.
The organization making it happen is a 40-year-old nonprofit organization called Bible2School reports Faithwire.
But how can Bible2School teach the Bible to kids during their school day?
Especially since public schools are increasingly hostile to Christians?
Children are bussed to churches or other locations during their lunch or recess where they get the chance to partake in this incredible program thanks to an old court ruling.
Bible2School CEO Kori Pennypacker explained the program.
Faithwire reported:
“There is something called the Release Time Court Rulings, and this was from back in 1914, when the Bible actually used to be a reader in school,” Pennypacker said.
“Everybody had one. Think ‘Little House on the Prairie.’ And then, around that time period, early 18- or 19-hundreds, they took the Bible out of school, but they had these release time rulings that said you can release kids from school, maybe one hour a day; different in different states, at different times.
But you can release kids from school. They have to be offsite, they have to have parental permission, and it has to cost a taxpayer no money, so no tax dollars.”
What an incredible program!
Bible2School proves what we already know – the Gospel is powerful and can change lives and God always makes a way to make His name known.
Children are indoctrinated with pro-LGBT propaganda during the entire duration of their school day – but Bible2School serves as a glimmer of hope.
Even if it’s only for an hour – students are learning Jesus loves them and He died on the cross for their sins.
They are hearing the truth about God – that He created each of us equally male and equally female and designed us for a purpose.
The best way to combat the lies of the enemy is with the truth of the Gospel.
Let’s continue to pray for Bible2School that they will have success in getting the Bible into the hands of public-school students all over the country!
Pennypacker told Faithwire that over 60 percent of the kids they serve have no home church – and that this is the first time they are hearing about Jesus.
Incredible!
May these children come to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and help lead their families to Christ.
The Bible is powerful and it changes lives.
We wish Bible2School God’s favor and blessing as they continue to make His name known.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17
