In Oklahoma, killing an unborn baby could cost you 10 years in prison or a massive $100k fine.
That’s right – pro-life leaders pushed through a bill that’s been signed into law by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt making abortion a felony.
But the fight is not over just yet – here’s everything you need to know.
As Christians, we know God is the Author of life – and every baby is a gift from above.
But instead of protecting unborn babies – abortion advocates around the country are mobilizing to have them slayed.
It’s heartbreaking that so many states continue to pass pro-abortion bills – even seeking to legalize infanticide.
The fight for life has never been more on the line – which is why Oklahoma stepped up in a major way.
Not only does this incredible bill make abortion a felony – rape and incest are not exceptions either!
Many pro-lifers say they are “pro-life” …
… but then when it comes to a baby conceived in rape, they think it’s okay to end that baby’s life.
Of course, it’s not the baby’s fault as to how they were conceived – and every baby deserves the right to be born.
Oklahoma thinks so too – and Governor Stitt said he wants his state to become the most pro-life state in the nation.
NPR reported:
“Senate Bill 612 is the strongest pro-life legislation in the country right now, which effectively eliminates abortion in Oklahoma,” Republican State Sen. Nathan Dahm, one of the bill’s authors, said in a statement.
Stitt has vowed to sign all anti-abortion bills the legislature sends him.”
What a wonderful example of those in a position of authority using their power to do good.
Thankfully, other states around the country have pushed back against the abortion agenda – like Texas – which has banned abortion at the moment of a detectable heartbeat.
While there are many good things happening in the pro-life movement, we must continue to pray without ceasing.
Abortion advocates have vowed to overturn both Texas and Oklahoma’s laws – and Joe Biden has promised to help keep abortion “accessible” to all.
In addition, there is a dark cloud sweeping across our nation – with politicians and even businesses coming up with new ways to incentivize abortion.
One company stooped to a despicable new low by offering abortion as an “employee benefit.”
Even a so-called “pastor” blessed an abortion clinic from the pulpit and called abortion “holy.”
God warns us that there are those who do evil and will call it ‘good’ – and while it’s horrific to watch them advocate for abortion – we know God sees all things and justice will be served in His perfect timing.
In the meantime – we can rejoice for states like Oklahoma who will be saving the lives of countless babies!
