As the pro-abort crowd still fumes over the Supreme Court’s ruling to reverse Roe v. Wade – liberal politicians have turned vindictive.
Instead of respecting the highest court in our nation – they are in a full-blown panic trying to skirt around the law and keep aborting babies.
And once you hear how they’re gunning for crisis pregnancy centers – you’re bound to be outraged.
Life-saving crisis pregnancy centers devote their time and resources to walk along scared, pregnant women – some even assisting clients until their child is 5-years-old.
These incredible centers dispel the lie that the only option a woman has is to abort her baby – and instead empower a woman to carry her baby to term – and either raise it with support – or place the baby up for adoption to be raised in a loving home.
With the selfless work they do – one couldn’t imagine why anyone would attack these centers.
Yet leading up to the Roe v. Wade decision – we watched in horror as angry abortion activists vandalized these centers by breaking windows and even firebombing them.
And as if things couldn’t get worse – the extreme left in Congress has now pledged to “crack down” on these centers – promising to fine and punish them if they don’t push abortion.
A gang of Senators banded together and introduced new legislation called the “Stop Anti-Abortion Disinformation Act” which arms the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to go after crisis pregnancy centers.
On Senator Elizabeth Warren’s website, she posted a scathing criticism of crisis pregnancy centers – mocking their effectiveness and vowed to punish them.
“With a far-right Supreme Court poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, it’s more important than ever to crack down on so-called ‘crisis pregnancy centers’ that mislead women about reproductive health care. I’m working in the Senate to stop these deceptive practices and ensure every American can access the abortion care they need,” said Senator Warren.
“No one should have to question that the person they are seeking medical advice from is actually a doctor or that information is accurate, objective, and complete,” said Congresswoman Maloney.
“It is truly disgusting that reproductive rights are being threatened and attacked by crisis pregnancy centers whose guiding principle is to mislead, misinform, and outright lie to pregnant people in order to dissuade them from having an abortion.
It is long past time that we prohibit these predatory tactics to undermine reproductive rights. This legislation cracks down on disinformation by simply requiring the FTC to ensure honesty for those that advertise reproductive healthcare.”
Wow.
The truth is – the only “disgusting” and “predatory” thing here is abortion giants like Planned Parenthood lying to women and telling them their only option is to kill their babies.
Abortion providers have long used dirty tricks like denying women the chance to see their babies via ultrasound – or scaring them into thinking they’ll be forced to carry a baby “alone” if they continue with their pregnancy.
It is only by the grace of God these crisis pregnancy centers can combat the lies – and save the lives of babies!
If anything – they need to be protected and supported.
As Christians – it’s crucial now more than ever that we donate our time, talent, and treasure to help these incredible organizations.
Consider contacting a crisis pregnancy center in your hometown and ask if they need volunteers.
Or, depending on how the Lord leads, donate to help keep these centers afloat.
Angry abortion activists can threaten all they want – but we know that light is stronger than darkness – and we must keep supporting those on the frontlines fighting to protect the lives of unborn babies.
