Taking another stab at our beautiful country, Hillary Clinton just compared the United States of America – the freest country in the world – to Afghanistan.
But why?
Well according to Clinton, not being able to slaughter unborn babies on a whim makes America oppressive – and just wait until you hear her insane comments.
Afghanistan is under Taliban rule – and women and children are grossly exploited.
Men take child brides – who are often sold by their own fathers for a small amount of money.
Women are forced to give birth in hospitals with unsanitary and horrific conditions.
If a woman is caught roaming in public without being fully covered, she could face beatings – even death.
But according to Hillary Clinton, now that the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, we are just as bad as Afghanistan.
The Washington Examiner reported:
“Some of the most harsh, draconian measures against reproductive healthcare are in states that don’t provide healthcare to pregnant women,” Clinton said.
Several states enacted stricter restrictions on abortions after the Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade in the decision Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
“It’s so shocking to think that in any way we’re related to poor Afghanistan and Sudan,” Clinton said.
“But as an advanced economy as we allegedly are, on this measure, we unfortunately are rightly put with them.”
Ridiculous.
I challenge any person claiming America is as bad as Afghanistan to move overseas and set up residency there.
Protecting the innocent lives of unborn babies is universal – and many countries have abortion restrictions in place – as they should.
Unborn babies are vulnerable and need protection – yet folks like Hillary Clinton think they should be slaughtered without a second thought if that’s what a woman decides to do.
There are other high-profile women in the U.S. claiming that killing babies will “save our democracy.”
The most heartbreaking thing of all is that these people associate “freedom” with being able to abort babies.
As Christians, we must continue to speak out on the issue of life.
True freedom is empowering women to keep their babies – and walking alongside them during their pregnancy so they know they aren’t alone…
… not sending them off to an abortion provider to slaughter their babies.
Let’s continue to pray for a day when every person – all of whom are created in the image of God – can experience freedom, including the unborn who can’t yet fight for themselves.
What are your thoughts on Hillary Clinton comparing America to Afghanistan and Sudan?
Do you think limiting abortion makes America “oppressive”?
