For the past 35 years, American Girl dolls have warmed the hearts of little girls everywhere.
Showcasing different periods of history, children around the world have collected these dolls for years and delighted in their lookalike attributes.
But the latest American Girl doll ruins yet another tradition by sneaking in a pro-LGBT storyline – and did it without even warning parents.
The latest American Girl doll, Kira Bailey, portrays a 10-year-old girl who has a passion for animals and visits her aunt at an animal sanctuary in Australia…
… except her aunt is a lesbian married to another woman!
In her story, Kira mentions how her aunts were married after the “law changed to allow it.”
Nowhere is there a warning for parents about the pro-LGBT storyline, so many parents have purchased the doll having no idea they were subjecting their child to LGBT propaganda.
It’s clear the left is determined to attack vulnerable children with their agenda and they’re using every avenue they can.
Creators just had to throw in a LGBT twist, knowing their targeted audience are 8–10-year-old girls!
While LGBT activists praise the company’s decision to include a lesbian couple, many Christian moms are furious.
One Million Moms has started a petition asking moms to boycott the doll and warning parents.
A portion of their petition reads:
“Why can’t the toy manufacturer let kids be kids instead of glamorizing a sinful lifestyle? American Girl is confusing our innocent children by attempting to normalize same-sex marriage.
The doll company did not even include a warning so parents would have a heads-up. Within the first few pages of Chapter 1, Kira Down Under includes an illustrated picture of the two women walking down the aisle at their wedding.
This irresponsible storyline is dangerous to the well-being of our children. American Girl should avoid aiming to please a small percentage of customers while pushing away conservative customers.”
Exactly.
How shameful LGBT activists continue to prey on innocent children in their obsession with forcing their agenda onto the world.
Of course, Julie Parks, a spokesperson for American Girl, backs up the company’s decision and claims it represents an accurate portrayal of today’s families.
Yahoo Life reported:
“From the beginning, our ‘Girl of the Year’ characters have been designed to reflect girls’s lives today and the realities of the times. As a brand, we’ve always strived to share the message that there’s no ‘magic recipe’ for a family and that families can be made up of all kinds of ingredients — and each is unique and lovely. We know for girls who can directly relate to Kira’s circumstances (i.e. a father who has passed away or a couple in a same-sex marriage), we’re glad to show them that the make-up of one’s family doesn’t matter — it’s still a family and that’s all the counts. It’s a sentiment we love at American Girl.”
How truly sad a little girl can’t even have a doll or read a story without the LGBT agenda being forced down her throat!
Parents, beware before you purchase the latest American Girl doll – and let this serve as a reminder to us all to carefully monitor everything our children watch or read!
