Satanic worship is on the rise in America with Satanists and “witches” attacking Christians and even politicians.
Now they’ve publicly assaulted one of the nation’s most popular pastors.
But he’s fighting back and pledged to keep his blood-stained clothes as a “badge of honor for Jesus.”
Charles Karuku, pastor of International Outreach Church in Burnsville, Minn., was attacked following the Let Us Worship event in Washington, D.C. Oct. 25 when a Satanist cult member threw a bucket of blood on him.
The attack on the Kenyan-American pastor occurred as he was walking with worship leader Sean Feucht and his group toward a taxi near the National Mall.
“It happened so fast,” Karuku told The Christian Post.
“I didn’t even notice what had happened until two seconds after when I heard a sound like ‘boom,’ and then I realized I can’t see clearly. So naturally, I touch my face and I find so much sticky stuff on my hands.”
Karuku, a regular participant in the Let Us Worship events, described the perpetrator as a 5-foot-5, 150-pound white male.
He said throwing buckets of blood was a Satanic ritual and “pretty typical of Satanists.”
“Nobody carries blood around except Satanists,” he said.
“I’m trying not to make it a big, big deal but try to take care of [my] body to make sure we don’t have any contamination.”
The incident marked the second time in two months that Satanists have tried to disrupt a Let Us Worship event. In August, a Satanic cult marched through the Seattle event yelling “Hail Satan” and shut down one of the group’s generators.
“Seattle never stopped singing,” Feucht said. “We saw salvations, healings, miracles, and baptisms.
“The church refused to be intimidated and God kept pouring out.”
After the D.C. event, which attracted more than 35,000 worshippers, Karuku took to Facebook saying the incident was proof that God is moving in America.
“Devil mad. WITCHES ARE RATTLED. THEIR POWER IS BROKEN,” he wrote.
“I’m gonna keep the blood-stained clothes as a badge of honor for Jesus! This movement is unstoppable.”
Feucht also posted on Facebook and said such incidents would not deter the Let Us Worship movement.
“YOU KNOW YOU’RE BREAKING THROUGH IN DC WHEN A SATANIST DUMPS A BOWL OF BLOOD ALL OVER YOUR TEAM’S FACE!!!”
“You can’t keep [us] down devils!! Over 35,000 showed up to declare the name of Jesus over our nation’s Capital!! GOD ALWAYS WINS!!!!”
The incident came on the heels of media reports that “thousands of witches” were gathering to cast spells on President Donald Trump to prevent him from being re-elected.
According to The Christian Broadcast Network, witches were attempting to cast a “binding spell” on Trump prior to the election, using social media hashtags like #BindTrump and #MagicResistance.
According to CBN, one member posted a message on the Bind Trump Facebook page saying, “Let’s work our magic hard.”
An author who has studied the rise of Satanism says witchcraft is one of the fastest growing religions in the United States, driven by millennials rejecting Christianity.
Dr. Michael Brown, president of FIRE School of Ministry and author of ‘Jezebel’s War with America: The Plot to Destroy Our Country and What We Can Do to Turn the Tide,’ compares Satanists and witches to the demonic spirit of Jezebel – the wife of Ahab and the daughter of a pagan king in the Bible.
“The rise of witchcraft in America has Jezebel’s name written all over it — in all caps, boldly and clearly,” Brown told CBN.
“The dots are all connected. Ahab’s queen lives on.”
Brown says the rise of witchcraft and sorcery is connected with the pro-choice movement and other spiritual and cultural movements attempting to destroy American and Christian values.
“Some of it may just be talk, some of it may be benign, but you are talking about people gathering together, appealing to other spiritual powers and they are militantly against the Bible,” he said.
“They are militantly against Christian values. This is something that’s really happening.”
“You even have people professing to be ‘Christian witches.’ The spiritual warfare is real.”
Another example is the rise of the Satanic Temple, which describes itself as the primary Satanic organization in the world.
The group recently launched its Religious Reproductive Rights campaign, which seeks to use religious freedom to circumvent state laws by declaring abortion a “religious ritual.” It teaches women how to perform a “blood ritual” during an abortion.
Brown says Christians must use their “greater spiritual weapons” to fight such demonic movements. Prayer, he said, is the “ultimate spiritual weapon.”
“We use the Word of God,” Brown said. “We turn to God to turn the heart of the nation.”
“Politics is important, but the only solution for the nation is found in the Cross, which is found in prayer and fasting.”
“Living this out, we can take Jezebel down.”
