Imagine being a divorced father and watching a “gender counselor” team up with your ex-wife to convince your sweet child they are “really a girl” – and not being able to stop it.
For Brenton Netz, this horrific thought has become a living nightmare, and now he’s using his story to warn other parents about the dangers of “radical gender ideology.”
And once you hear the tragic ways his child with special needs has been taken advantage of – you’re bound to be horrified and compelled to take a stand.
During the Pray Vote Stand Summit, Christians gathered together to discuss current issues influencing American society.
Of course, gender ideology was at the top of the list – as this demonic ideology has infiltrated its way into every aspect of our lives – from schools to medical offices and even some churches.
Netz told the crowd his story in detail, how his then 8-year-old son was under “therapy” with a “gender” counselor who encouraged his son – who has special needs – to embrace his new identity as a girl.
The counselor did everything from examine his son’s private areas to determine how “far along” he was in puberty so he could prescribe hormone blockers, to try and “re-parent” him.
Trying to stop the transition and fight for his son – Netz underwent a brutal legal battle.
Even though he has joint legal custody, the “gender-affirming” clinic started the transition without his approval.
The Christian Post reported:
“Netz described his son as a “vulnerable child” who was “diagnosed with autism at the age of 4” with “an obsessive personality” and “other real behavioral issues.”
He criticized the therapist who treated his son, Troy Weber-Brown, for referring to his “autistic son as a girl named Miley using she/her and them/their pronouns.” Weber-Brown is a licensed family and marriage therapist who specializes in LGBTQ behavioral healthcare.
The father condemned the “appalling way he (Weber-Brown) counsels troubled and vulnerable children,” adding “his stated goal is to re-parent them.”
And he’s exactly right.
Counselors use their authority to persuade young children to adopt the LGBT agenda – hoping they’ll turn against their own parents.
These counselors hope that by a child deeming their parent as the enemy, they’ll have more significant influence over the child’s choices.
Clearly, an 8-year-old with special needs doesn’t have the mental or emotional capacity to make the life-altering decision to take hormone blockers and change genders.
Even worse, instead of protecting her son from this counselor – the mother actually sought him out.
Netz makes it clear that it wasn’t his precious son who wanted to adopt the “transgender” ideology…
… but instead, it was the adults in his life who were seeking to confuse him.
The Christian Post continued:
“There is no way my autistic little boy voluntarily self-identified as a transgender lesbian unless he was convinced of that by an adult,” he asserted.
Cheers to this dad for speaking out on what is happening to his son and using his story to warn other parents of just how far those who embrace a radical gender ideology are willing to go.
May the Lord protect his son and grant Netz wisdom as he navigates this complex situation to fight and save his son from radical, pro-transgender extremists.
