College kids are known for protesting and standing up for causes they believe in.
But what should be accepted as a basic scientific fact by everyone has caused a massive uproar at the University of Southern Maine – with students walking out and even demanding their professor be fired.
So just what did this professor say that incited such chaos on a college campus?
The professor said there are only two sexes.
Yes, that’s it.
College professor Christy Hammer stated the biological fact that only two sexes exist – male and female – and her class absolutely lost their minds.
Faithwire reported only one student agreed with the professor – while the rest of the class staged a walkout.
The students demanded a “restorative justice meeting” with the head of the School of Education and Human Development – and when the professor refused to retract her statement, the students threatened to boycott her class.
One student, Elizabeth Leibiger (who identifies as “non-binary”) claims she felt “personally attacked” – because her professor said there are only two sexes.
Fox News reported:
“I asked [Hammer] how many sexes there were,” Leibiger said. “She said, ‘Two.’ I felt under personal attack.”
According to the report, 21 of the 22 students in Hammer’s class then decided to walk out during a class session on Sept. 14 and demanded for a restorative justice meeting to be held with the university’s School of Education and Human Development.
“I let her know I didn’t think she was qualified to teach a class about positive learning environments,” Leibiger said. “It’s the ultimate irony.”
Sadly, this is our current culture and often college professors will tell students they can be “whatever gender they want.”
Kids as young as preschool age are learning that there are “multiple genders” and they can “choose their preferred one.”
Of course, these kids grow up struggling with gender dysphoria, thinking God must have made a mistake when He created them.
It’s truly heartbreaking.
Thank goodness there are still some college professors like Professor Hammer who continue to teach basic biology – that each human was created either male or female.
And while there are students staging protests and boycotting her class – to date so far over 3,500 students have rallied behind Hammer and signed a petition asking the university back her up.
We now live in a reality where everything is considered “offensive” – even teaching straight biological truth.
Of course, we know as Christians that God created each and every one of us equally male or female, designed for a purpose – and to ultimately glorify Him.
We must continue to pray against the LGBT madness sweeping across our nation – especially with some cities and states now hailing themselves as a “sanctuary” for “transgender” youth to flee to.
Our children need adults who protect them, not harm them.

Let’s hope more adults follow suit and stop the corruption of young and impressionable minds.
