Ever since the Biden administration allowed retail pharmacies to sell abortion drugs – major companies like Rite Aid and CVS jumped on board.
But when 20 state attorneys generals sent a letter warning these pharmacies that selling the drugs via the U.S. Postal Service would be in violation of the law – Walgreens agreed to not sell the drugs in those states.
And once California Governor Gavin Newsom heard the news – he had an absolute meltdown. And just wait until you see how he responded.
Governor Newsom is laser-focused on expanding abortion and can’t stand anything that gets in his way of promoting the slaughter of unborn babies.
Not only has he campaigned for abortion by welcoming women to come into California to kill their babies – he’s even had billboards put up in pro-life states to taunt pro-lifers by twisting Scripture and insinuating that Jesus would support abortion too.
And now that Walgreens has agreed not to sell the abortion drug (in both their brick-and-mortar stores nor via the mail) in certain states, including some states that allow abortion – Newsom has fired off a rant claiming California is “done” with Walgreens and will no longer be doing business with them.
Faithwire reported:
“The Democrat announced via Twitter the state government “won’t be doing business” with Walgreens “or any company that cowers to the extremists and puts women’s lives at risk,” referring to the numerous states that have threatened legal action against stores that stock mifepristone, an abortion-inducing drug.
“We’re done,” Newsom added.”

It’s not even that Walgreens is essentially pro-life – they’re still selling abortion drugs in certain states.
But when 20 state attorneys generals wrote a letter warning CVS and Walgreens that selling the drug would be in violation of a 150-year-old state law – Walgreens decided it wasn’t worth the hassle.
As pro-lifers – we can cheer anytime a baby’s life is saved – even if it’s only because legal action was threatened.
Abortion advocates make it sound like popping a pill to kill a baby is a harmless procedure, but aside from the medical complications that can occur, the bottom line is – it ends the life of a baby with a beating heart.
Every baby is precious in the eyes of God and was created by Him for a purpose.
To end a baby’s life – whether through a poisonous drug or the grotesque physical procedure of sucking them from its mother’s womb – is barbaric and never acceptable.
Pro-abort states like California and New York may welcome the slaughter of innocent life – but praise God there are still some states standing up for unborn babies.
Let’s continue to pray Biden will have a change of heart and stop his campaign to expand abortion and force Christians to partake in his agenda.
But if that day never comes, Christians must continue to band together and speak out for life.
