On the anniversary of one of the darkest days in American history, the President of the United States released a statement that sent shockwaves across the nation.
Unlike former president Donald Trump, who acknowledged the sanctity of human life, Biden sings a different tune.
And as Christians around the country mourned the loss of more than 60 million aborted babies, President Biden vowed to do the unthinkable.
Instead of taking a moment to acknowledge the innocent lives lost at the hands of cruel abortionists, Biden announced that abortion was a fundamental right to Americans, and pledged to codify it.
The Christian Post reported:
“The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to codifying Roe v. Wade and appointing judges that respect foundational precedents like Roe,” the White House said in a statement Friday, the day after National Right to Life Committee said in its annual report that the total number of abortions since 1973 had exceeded 62 million.
“In the past four years, reproductive health, including the right to choose, has been under relentless and extreme attack,” added Biden in the White House statement. “We are deeply committed to making sure everyone has access to care — including reproductive health care — regardless of income, race, zip code, health insurance status, or immigration status.”
While it’s no surprise he took a stab at pro-life activists and politicians, his lack of empathy or remorse towards the lives slayed from abortion is truly troubling.
And to be clear, there’s nothing “extreme” about fighting to eliminate the slaughter of unborn babies.
As Christians, we are called to speak up for the defenseless.
If there was ever any doubt where Biden stands on the issue of life, his latest comments make his true intentions known.
Not only is his administration the most pro-abortion administration in American history, they are already working to pass policies to undo the work pro-life activists have achieved over the years.
And abortion giants like Planned Parenthood, who take credit for Biden getting elected, have already given their list of demands and expects every single one of them be met.
While it’s a dark time in American history, as Christians we must never lose our eternal hope.
We know it is God who raises kings, and removes kings, and we know God is always sovereign and on His throne.
As a dying world looks to the government to give them the answers of life, as Christians we can point them to Jesus.
And yes, we must fervently pray for all our leaders – most importantly that they will seek God in all their decisions.
There is strength in numbers, let us rally together to speak out on pro-life issues and work tirelessly to support candidates that stand for life.
While the season may be a dark one, we know Christ has already won the war.
Don’t give up the fight, dear Christian! Stay the course and use your voice to make a difference.
