Now that the Supreme Court has struck down Roe v. Wade – liberal politicians like President Joe Biden are using the ruling as a chance to rally their base.
Not only has Biden been silent on life-saving pro-life pregnancy centers being vandalized by pro-abort activists – he’s gone so far as to incite further violence with his latest remarks.
And when you hear what Biden has said now, you’re bound to be infuriated.
As the President of the United States of America, Biden could use his position of influence to tell those attacking peaceful pro-lifers and life-saving pregnancy centers to stand down.
While he did encourage “peaceful protests,” he fueled the fire by ramping up his base and claiming that the only reason Roe v. Wade was able to be overturned was because of President Trump’s Supreme Court picks.
Biden’s remarks were posted on the official White House website:
“It was three justices named by one President — Donald Trump — who were the core of today’s decision to upend the scales of justice and eliminate a fundamental right for women in this country.
Make no mistake: This decision is the culmination of a deliberate effort over decades to upset the balance of our law. It’s a realization of an extreme ideology and a tragic error by the Supreme Court, in my view.”
Biden knows that by even mentioning President Trump’s name he’s riling up his base.
Furthermore, he’s alluding to the fact that every pro-lifer in America has an “extreme ideology” …
… as if speaking up for unborn babies who don’t have a voice is somehow “extreme”!
Biden went on to scare women by claiming their lives are in danger and warning that they’ll be “punished” for seeking “healthcare.”
Biden continued:
“The Court has done what it has never done before: expressly take away a constitutional right that is so fundamental to so many Americans that had already been recognized.
The Court’s decision to do so will have real and immediate consequences. State laws banning abortion are automatically taking effect today, jeopardizing the health of millions of women, some without exceptions.
So extreme that women could be punished for protecting their health.”
Of course, we know the only extreme thing is having the President of the United States advocating for abortion – and then using his Catholic faith as an attempt to portray other people of the faith as being in support of such a vile act.
Roe v. Wade was legally overturned – and now the lives of unborn babies will be spared.
While there is still much work to do at the state level, this is a start.
It’s too bad Biden doesn’t use this opportunity as a reset by acknowledging that the Supreme Court has spoken – and that Americans must now respect and honor their ruling.
But instead, he’s scaring Americans into thinking their rights have been violated, hoping their anger will lead to change.
Let us continue to pray for those who are still deceived into believing the lie that abortion is “healthcare.”
God can change the hearts of anyone – and we must never stop praying for His truth to be known.
