In Alabama, Governor Kay Ivey wanted to protect children against the “transgender” madness, so she signed not one – but two – bills into law.
These bills protect children against those who wish to harm them and will stop decades of trauma and confusion.
Even more encouraging, in her public statement she gave credit to the Lord for her decision to sign the bills – just wait until you hear what she had to say.
Thanks to Governor Ivey, it is now a crime in Alabama for doctors to prescribe puberty drugs and perform gender transition surgeries on children.
Praise the Lord!
No child should be given puberty drugs or undergo life-altering body transitions – and thankfully those who try to harm children will now be punished.
Texas has also instituted a similar law. Both Governor Greg Abbott of Texas and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton have put LGBT activists on notice that they will no longer be able to “transition kids” – and if they do, they’ll be investigated for child abuse.
But in Alabama, Governor Ivey took things even further.
She signed an additional bill insisting public schools must offer separate locker rooms and bathrooms based on biological sex.
After all the sexual assaults taking place in LGBT-friendly school bathrooms around the country – I bet parents in Alabama are breathing a sigh of relief!
And when asked why she signed the bills into law – Governor Ivey gave all the glory to God.

“There are very real challenges facing our young people, especially with today’s societal pressures and modern culture,” Ivey said in a statement. “I believe very strongly that if the Good Lord made you a boy, you are a boy, and if he made you a girl, you are a girl.”
Amen!
God never makes mistakes – and His design for each one of us is flawless.
While the current culture may continue to gun for our children – sensible adults must stand up and fight back.
Christian Headlines continued:
“We should … protect our children from these radical, life-altering drugs and surgeries when they are at such a vulnerable stage in life,” Ivey said.
With so many politicians passing policies that harm children – it’s refreshing to see adults standing up to actually protect children.
Alabama Governor Kay Ivey nailed it when she gave glory to God for His perfect creation.
Children need to know and internalize the power and majesty of God – and understand He created them exactly as He intended.
Sadly, those pushing the LGBT agenda seek to confuse children – which causes them to question God’s goodness – and could even lead to a faith crisis later in life.
Even more horrific, some adults are working to turn kids against their parents – brainwashing them with LGBT propaganda and telling them to keep it a secret.
It’s our hope and prayer that more states will keep doctors and adults from encouraging and prescribing hormone drugs or performing gender-transitioning procedures on children.
Our culture is in a crisis, so now more than ever kids need to know there are safe adults who will fight for them and protect them from predators.
