Jack Phillips just wants to bake his cakes and live a peaceful life, but LGBT activists continue to target him in a vicious way.
For nearly a decade, he’s found himself in and out of court, forced to defend his Christian beliefs for refusing to bake wedding cakes for same-sex marriages.
Now Phillips has been hauled back to the courts again – this time by a lawyer activist after he refused to bake her a “transgender” celebration cake. And you won’t believe what the judge ruled.
To be clear, this lawyer deliberately targeted Jack Phillips because she knew he was a Christian and had already refused to violate his faith in the past.
Instead of just leaving him alone and getting a cake from one of the hundreds of other local shops, she decided to specifically go after him – all to prove a point.
And while you’d think the judge would’ve clearly seen the case for what it was – an activist trying to harass Jack Phillips – the judge actually ruled against Phillips.
But why?
The judge tried to make it seem like it was an innocent request for just a pink and blue cake …
… completely disregarding that the intent behind the request was for a “gender transition” celebration.
Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is representing Phillips and has vowed to appeal the ruling.
ADF general counsel Kristen Waggoner stated:
“Jack Phillips serves all people but shouldn’t be forced to create custom cakes with messages that violate his conscience. In this case, an activist attorney demanded Jack create custom cakes in order to ‘test’ Jack and ‘correct the errors’ of his thinking, and the activist even threatened to sue Jack again if the case is dismissed for any reason.
Radical activists and government officials are targeting artists like Jack because they won’t promote messages on marriage and sexuality that violate their core convictions…
We will appeal this decision and continue to defend the freedom of all Americans to peacefully live and work according to their deeply held beliefs without fear of punishment.”
Christian business owners continue to be attacked all around the country by activists seeking to prove a political point.
The left is utterly obsessed with shoving their pro-LGBT agenda down everyone’s throats – and making them pay a price if they don’t accept it.
Christian photographers are being asked to display same-sex couples on their websites or else risk losing their business.
And then there is Jack Phillips who has been targeted since 2012.
He’s had to defend himself multiple times, even winning a victory from the Supreme Court, yet activists are still determined to take him down.
All because he is a Christian who supports traditional marriage.
Let’s remember to keep Jack Phillips in our prayers, that his business will remain strong and survive all the attacks by those wishing to cause him harm.
