For years, Christians have sounded the alarm that by allowing gay marriage to be the law of the land, polygamy was sure to follow.
While polygamy (being married to more than one person) is still prohibited in all 50 states – cities are starting to pave the way by recognizing polyamory, which is defined as being in a romantic (sexual) relationship with more than one person.
Christians were labeled as “paranoid,” as people insisted this would never happen, but as we can see from recent events – the road has now been paved for the unthinkable.
In liberal Cambridge, Massachusetts, the city has approved an ordinance recognizing a domestic partnership to include “two or more people.”
The Christian Post reported:
“Polygamy was foreseeable because the arguments in support of same-sex marriage always had broader implications,” said Joseph Backholm, a senior fellow at the Christian conservative activist organization Family Research Council, wrote in an email to The Christian Post Thursday.
“Those fighting to redefine marriage refused to discuss those implications because they were more concerned with getting what they wanted. Those who were concerned about the long-term implications of same-sex ‘marriage’ were called bigots and fear-mongers. Now, it turns out, they were simply correct.”
Somerville, Massachusetts passed a similar ordinance the previous year.
Given Biden’s support of the LGBT agenda, it’s likely more cities will follow suit.
Some states are taking things even further, like Utah, who actually lowered the punishment for polygamy from a felony down to a simple fine.
And let’s not forget California – where a leftist judge recently ruled that a “throuple” (who were three men) could be listed as the “parents” on a child’s birth certificate.
These three men are now training their two children that this lifestyle is normal, even bragging that their preschool child is proud to have “three dads.”
One of the “dads,” Ian Jenkins, boasted about the role each of the men play in the children’s lives.
The NY Post reported:
“Now, Piper and Parker have no trouble understanding their parents’ relationship. “I’m Papa, Alan is Dada and Jeremy is Daddy,” says Jenkins. “We all bring something different. Alan is the best at reading books, with an accent and backstory for every character.” Jeremy is the creative dad, who makes bath bombs and special lunches for the kids. Ian is often the family cook, and the resident fort-maker.”
Now in preschool, Piper sees her daddies as a source of pride.
She told a classmate, “You have two parents. I have three parents.”
This type of child abuse is tragic.
Children need to grow up with a mom and a dad – having three dads is in no way normal, and shouldn’t be something accepted, much less celebrated.
But these types of actions show what a fallen world we live in, and that society has chosen to feed the flesh, rather than the Spirit.
With LGBT activists continuing to organize and advocate for their lifestyle choices, the traditional family unit is under attack like never before.
Father God, please have mercy on our nation and may we all repent and turn from our wicked ways.
