Social distancing has cancelled most of the events we would look forward to this spring.
But there are still ways to get together and enjoy music and performances!
Several Christian artists have hosted online concerts for their fans in recent weeks.
Most of these performances are still available for free viewing online! Here are five recent concerts and performances to watch during your next family night in quarantine.
1. Together: A Night of Hope (For King and Country)
For King and Country, a duo of Australian brothers, was forced to call off their upcoming national tour due to the pandemic.
But the brothers decided to give their fans a treat even in the midst of isolation and social distancing. That’s why they organized “Together: A Night of Hope.”
This concert featured the brothers, their band, and several other well-known Christian musicians and recording artists—all through the technology of FaceTime!
The musicians all played from the safety and isolation of their homes, joining forces to sing worship anthems and encourage their communities in the dark days of COVID-19. It was an emotional and uplifting time for performers and viewers alike.

2. The Gray Havens’ Online Concert
Husband-wife duo The Gray Havens have also called off their spring tour due to the spread of the coronavirus.
But Dave and Licia Radford still wanted to share a night of music and fellowship with their musical community, so they sat down and streamed a concert from their home in Nashville.
The concert featured audience requests, question-and-answer sessions about songwriting and other topics, and acoustic versions of recent and older songs. The couple even hinted at future livestreams and upcoming releases.

3. Live from Home (Switchfoot)
Members of the California-based band Switchfoot have been performing a song each day on Facebook, dubbing their daily sessions “Live from Home.”
Lead singer Jon Foreman has led the movement, with other members of the band joining in from their respective homes on various occasions.
They’ve played Switchfoot classics from across the last two decades, as well as their favorites from other bands, coupling each song with a fervent wish for their viewers and fans to stay home, stay safe, and stay well.

4. Live Hymn Sings (Keith & Kristyn Getty)
Well-known modern hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty have begun streaming weekly hymn-sings from their home in Nashville—and their four adorable daughters join them on camera nearly every time!
In the past several weeks, the Gettys have performed a special St. Patrick’s Day concert, an Easter hymn-sing, and other weekly musical events on their Facebook feed.
They’ve shared brand new hymns like “Christ Our Hope in Life and Death,” as well as popular Christian favorites like “In Christ Alone,” “Lift High the Name of Jesus,” and “Christ Is Risen, He Is Risen Indeed.”
Even though they’re missing the full sound of their band, Keith and Kristyn still serenade viewers with acoustic versions of theologically grounded hymns—an important ministry in these uncertain times.
