A deeply sorrowful day has hit this nation with the weight of a thousand blows, causing those who value human life to mourn.
The passing of New York’s new late-term abortion law marks one of the most horrendous days in the history of our country.
But viral video recorded by a chiropractor in Texas has rallied the pro-life community in a powerful way.
See the video for yourself and see the huge response that happened as a result:
Democrat New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill into law that takes away the state’s previous recognition of “preborn babies older than 24 weeks as potential homicide victims, removes abortion from the penal code entirely, and lets health practitioners other than doctors commit abortions,” according to LifeSite News.
Cuomo is a so-called Catholic, believing in the Bible, Jesus Christ, and one would assume that Christ died for our sins so that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10).
Yet his hand in the destruction of countless little ones is not the fruit of a follower of the almighty God as he opens the door for depravity like we have never seen before.
The New York Right to Life Committee foresees a grim future with abortion being declared a “fundamental right”, according to LifeSite News.
The no-limit abortion approach being taken by the belligerent left is coming to a point where they are “mandat[ing] that everyone take part in the culture of death”, as The New York State Right to Life Committee sees it.
Hearts burdened by seeing this happen, Dr. Caleb Braddock of Braddock Chiropractic in Van Alstyne, Texas, and his staff recorded a heartfelt video sharing that burden with their customers.
In addition, deciding to respond in love, and be a true ray of light in these dark times, Dr. Braddock announced his office was launching a diaper drive to support mothers who choose life for their unborn children.
Their Facebook video with all the details has gone viral, being shared by Pro-life advocates around the nation.
“In this office, we think some controversial things, and a lot of times we keep our mouths shut,” Braddock said. “But there are certain times where I think individuals and even businesses need to take a stand and say this is what we think. Is it good for business? Maybe not, maybe some of you will be upset over this. And with a spirit of love we say, [we’re] not concerned about that, but feel it’s more important for you to understand in this office we take a stand for life.”
Watch it yourself here:
Chiropractors are in the business of giving patients a better quality of life, a more meaningful future, and this is how Braddock sees it, saying:
“Every single day when we adjust patients, our goal is to allow them to express more life. Whether that’s a pregnant mom, which we take care of so many of, individuals, babies, athletes, all the way to the grave we want you to be able to express life.”
Concerning the repulsive abortion law that was just unfathomably passed, Braddock reported to KXII:
“That was one of those things that not just me, but my entire staff, entire team were just kind of really heartbroken over. We think that Christ died and lived for life, and so the more that we can support that the better.”
Their diaper drive ended last Friday, February 15th, and they released another video announcing the overwhelming results!
“From 4 different countries and 30 states, diapers have poured in to our office.”
“We have collected 43,680 diapers. That’s $15,288 in diapers!”
“We are in awe of your generosity and encouraged by your support!”
All charitable proceeds will go to True Options Pregnancy Center in Sherman, Texas. This facility aids women with adoption referrals, parenting help, and post-abortion counseling. Mothers who feel they have no means to care for their babies need places like True Options to show that choice extends beyond death.
If New York’s new late-term abortion law has taught us anything, it is that we have to be proactive in spreading awareness of the heinous legislation lurking in the state legislative chambers.
Like Braddock, pro-life advocates need to push aside concern for professional popularity and personal comfort for what’s right.
Representatives need to be made aware that anything beyond accepting the perfectly designed creation of God at conception is unacceptable, immoral, and against the basic principles America was founded on– that every human has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!
Psalm 127:3
“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.”
