There’s something beautiful and pure about the faith of a child placing their hope in Jesus and internalizing His eternal love.
In fact, one second-grader loved the Lord so much, she wanted to share the good news with her friends at school – never dreaming she’d be punished for doing so.
And once you hear how school officials terrorized this precious child you’re bound to be horrified.
As it turns out, this second-grader had been sent to the principal’s office 10 times since the beginning of the school year.
It wasn’t because she disobeyed her teacher or got into fights on the playground.
Instead, it was for talking about Jesus on the playground – which infuriated the leftist school officials.
The little girl also had Gospel tracts she brought to school hoping to share with her friends.
To stop her, school officials searched this little second-grader’s backpack every day – removing any Christian material they found, reported the Christian Post.
This poor child!
All she wanted was to tell her friends about Jesus on the playground and school officials treated her like a criminal.
Christina Compagnone, an associate counsel with the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), reported on the continued and blatant violations made by school officials against this girl’s First Amendment rights.
The Christian Post reported:
“Christian tracts were being treated as contraband, as if speaking about Jesus were an illicit drug,” Compagnone said…
Under the law, Compagnone added: “Students are free to express their religious views while at school, which includes sharing Bibles, Christian tracts, and crosses.”
“The actions of the school officials were particularly egregious in this case because they not only violated this student’s rights, but also publicly humiliated her.”
It’s surreal to know that we’ve reached a day in our nation where school officials will encourage children to “change genders” …
… yet a child who loves Jesus gets sent to the principal’s office for talking about Him on the playground.
And she’s not the first Christian child to be targeted.
Who could forget the little girl who was suspended for wearing a mask that simply said “Jesus loves me”?
It’s a dangerous time in our nation when “free speech” is only allowed so long as it aligns with the leftist agenda.
Cheers to this brave girl for taking a stand for Jesus at such a young age!
She has more courage than some adults as she was willing to be persecuted and mocked for her faith – not fearing what others thought of her.
We can’t wait to see how God will use her throughout her life to make His name known.
Let’s hope this school will be held accountable and that this girl will soon be free to share the love of Christ with those who need His eternal love.
