“When I was very young, my father sold me to men … and that started me on a path of destruction and abuse that led me to a forced abortion when I was 18 years old.”
In her YouTube testimony, which I’ve linked below, Toni tells her heartbreaking story with pain in her voice of how she was trafficked as a young girl by her own father.
And when she finally escaped her abusive home, due to her previous trauma and faulty sense of self-worth, she moved in with a man who ended up abusing her too.
“I learned that my only worth and self-value was to be used for sex by men, I didn’t understand that I had any other value than that.”
She soon became pregnant by her new boyfriend who wanted nothing to do with the child and immediately began a pressure campaign to get her to murder her unborn baby.
“No one is ever going to love you.”
“Who is going to love a single mother with a child.”
“You’re going to get fat and ugly.”
Her abusive boyfriend repeated these and other lies to try to force her to abort her unborn baby.
Finally, she gave in and agreed to visit an abortion clinic seeking help and counseling, and hoping for a way out, but nothing could prepare her for what would unfold.
Live Action reported:
“Toni claims a nurse, who “didn’t say a word,” led her to a back room without saying a word. According to Toni, she told the nurse twice that she was not there to receive an abortion. Toni claims that when she attempted to leave, the nurse physically restrained her.
“I got up out of my seat and I said, ‘I am out of here. I am leaving. I am not here to have an abortion,’” she claims. “And [the nurse] took her hands, she placed them on my shoulders, and she pushed me back down in the chair. She pulled a needle out of her pocket, and she put it in my arm.” Toni then passed out”
Because of the abortion clinic’s desire to murder unborn babies, Toni endured more trauma as the clinic drugged her and ripped her unborn baby from her lifeless body.
This woman was scared. She wanted to keep her baby. She communicated clearly to the clinic she did not want an abortion. But it didn’t matter.
Abortion clinics are notorious for preying on women and millions of babies continue to lose their lives at the hands of these “doctors” who are known to pressure women to murder their unborn babies.
They pretend to be “for women” when the only interest they have in women is the payment they receive for ending the lives of innocent babies.
It is critical Christians stand up and help women who are pregnant and scared and show them abortion is not an option. Even more so, it’s imperative the church welcomes those who have had abortions and are seeking healing and forgiveness.
If you are reading this and you are a woman who has had an abortion — there is forgiveness.
While nothing can bring back your unborn baby, there is healing and forgiveness in Christ.
The enemy will lie to you, just as Toni’s abusive boyfriend did, and try to use your past to induce shame, but remember there is truth in the light, and Christ covers all our past mistakes.
You see at first, Toni blamed herself for what happened, condemning herself for not being “strong enough” to resist. But once Toni faced her fears and called out the enemy’s lies that kept her in bondage, she was free.
Toni realized while she may not have been able to choose her biological father, nor undo her painful past, once she accepted the healing love of Jesus Christ, her life was forever changed.
Knowing now that she is adopted into God’s kingdom as his daughter, she has finally started to heal from her traumatic past and now she wants others to experience the love and peace only Jesus can bring and use her story as a testimony to other women who may be pregnant and scared.
Abortion is never an option. There are many wonderful organizations like Save The Storks, who offers counseling to pregnant women, and show ultrasounds of the baby!
Christians must walk alongside hurting women and show them there are other options besides abortion. God is the author of life and as Christians, we are called to speak of His light and help those who are hurting or suffering.
Toni speaks that it was only being adopted into God’s family and realizing the power of God that healed her and now her life mission is to help other girls who are suffering.
What are your thoughts on Toni’s forced abortion? Do you think the abortion clinic should be held responsible for forcing her to have an abortion?
