After 50 years of unborn babies losing their lives at the hands of cruel abortionists – Roe v. Wade has been officially overturned.
This huge answer to our prayers will preserve the lives of countless unborn babies – and give them a chance at life.
While the abortion fight is far from over – today we should rejoice in the goodness of God and praise Him for the mercy He granted our nation to stop the killing of our most vulnerable.
The Christian Post reported:
“We hold that Roe and [Planned Parenthood v. Casey] must be overruled. The Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision,” wrote Alito.
“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start. Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division.”
All around the country, Christians cried tears of joy the moment the ruling was released.
A hard-fought battle that took place for generations has finally been won.
In our lifetime, we witnessed our Supreme Court Justices overturn a ruling that should have never stood to begin with.
But among the celebrations, violent protests are taking place all over the country with rabid pro-aborts attacking peaceful pro-lifers and pro-life pregnancy centers.
Unfortunately, the attacks will only ramp up – as some cannot bear the thought that they’ll no longer be able to slaughter unborn babies without mercy.
Extremist group Jane’s Revenge has already vowed to unleash a night of terror once Roe v. Wade is overturned – so we must be in prayer that their dark and evil plans will not succeed.
Now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned at a federal level – it is up to the states to determine what abortion rights will be granted or denied.
The Guttmacher Institute reports 26 states will quickly move to enact abortion restrictions – with 13 of them already having “trigger laws” that will now go into effect since Roe V. Wade has been overturned.
These 13 states are: Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.
While there is still much work to do to save the lives of unborn babies – we should rejoice today.
The day that Roe V. Wade would finally be overturned is here!
Let us praise God for answering our prayers – and pray for protection against the violence that is sure to happen in reaction to this historic ruling.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17
